Procedures and authorizations

From your operator account area, choose the relevant type of activity, complete the corresponding form and attach the required documents. Online submission will be available once the application module goes live; in the meantime, files are submitted through official channels to the authority.

The list depends on the type of activity (radiodiagnostics, radiotherapy, nuclear medicine, etc.). It appears at the end of each application form, detailing the documents to attach for that specific type of activity.

The time required depends on the complexity of the file and on whether a prior inspection is needed. Your file status moves through six stages, from "Received" to "Approved" or "Rejected"; you are notified at each change.

Payment is made when the application is submitted, by mobile money (TMoney, Flooz) or by bank card, through a payment aggregator connected to the ANSSN's account. This module is part of phase 2 of the platform and is not yet active.

Every authorization issued carries a unique number and a verification code. A verification page, accessible without an account, will allow anyone to check its validity and coverage period from that code.

Anonymous reporting

It allows anyone to inform the authority that equipment emitting ionizing radiation is being held without being declared, so that an inspection can be considered.

Yes, and it is real anonymity, not merely a promise of confidentiality: no account is required, no IP address is retained, and no technical data that could identify you is recorded. The authority cannot trace it back to you, even if it wanted to.

No. Reporting is deliberately accessible without an account and without any identification.

A tracking code is given to you upon submission. Every report is first assessed by an officer before any further action: no inspection is triggered by an unassessed report.

Operator account

Any organization holding or using sources or equipment that emit ionizing radiation: public or private healthcare facility, clinic, radiology practice, and so on.

The organization's registered name, its tax identification number, its address, and the contact details of the person authorized to represent the organization before the authority.

Online password reset will be available once the authentication module goes live. In the meantime, please contact the authority directly.

The account is tied to the organization, not to an individual: it remains valid even if the person in charge within the organization changes.

About the authority

The ANSSN was established by Law No. 2020-006 of 10 June 2020, with its organization set out by Decree No. 2021-018/PR. It falls under the authority of the Presidency of the Republic.

It exercises regulatory control over any source or equipment emitting ionizing radiation, regardless of the sector concerned: health, industry or research.

Through the form on the Contact page, or directly by email at contact@anssn.tg.
